* Pick an element in the background of the previous photo, and post a photo of your own that shows that element in the foreground.
* Your photo shouldn't look similar to the previous one - don't follow a photo of a cat with another photo of a cat!
* Your photo should have things in the background that the next person can link to.
* We all love cats & flowers but they're hard to link to unless there's something else in the background.

About !Flickr Chain Gang
The Flickr Chain Gang (FCG) is a conga line of images linked together by the changing themes in each individual image.
When you post an image it needs to be:
* linked to the previous image in the pool somehow, and
* this link should be described with a note on the image (using Flickr's note tool)
Select a subject in the background or a secondary element to the last image and make it the main feature of the image you add. Make sure your image also has a secondary subject or subjects in the background.
Still wondering how it works - start with the first image in the pool and work backwards reading the FCG note in each image.
Images not meeting guidelines (taking into account some poetic license) will be bounced.

Here are the rules...
Rule 1
Images posted must connect to the last image posted. Posters are expected to maintain a high standard of aesthetic, style and/or wit/humor when posting (i.e., no junk please).
Rule 2
Add an Image Note that describes the images relationship to others in the pool.
* Images without a note will be removed without notice.
* Do not link to images without a note - when they are removed the chain will be broken.
* If the latest image does not have a note, simply link to the most recent image with a note.
Rule 3
Please do not make your own Chain by adding your photographs in a series. After you added one wait for another Flickr member to add another. If you add photos in a series, they will be deleted without notification or banned from the group.
Please remove your photo when it languishes in the pool for a number of days or it will be deleted by admin.
