About FlickRelief: a collective effort

The main thrust of this group is to find ways to
1) Assist people in contributing to any humanitarian crisis. At this time especially the crisis in the Middle East. Primarily we will direct flickr members to possible existing charitable organizations.

2) Create a book that will allow flickr photographers to contribute their photos. The profits from the book would be used to fund an existing charitable organization, in all likelyhood.

3) NOT reinvent the wheel. We are not looking for any additional ideas for projects at this time. . If you have another idea, please start your own group =^D
