It is intended to be light hearted and as such abuse or offensive material will be deleted etc.

Welcome to FlickR Off! the arena for photo-based battles.

The original idea was spawned at a York FlickR meet - someone suggested a trip to Hull for a photo outing (my old stomping ground) and I suggested getting in touch with the Hull FlickR group and have a York v Hull contest.... a FlickR Off!

So I thought we could have a common place to post a summary of the challenges and the results.

FlickR Off! is not just for regional groups to partake in photo-combat, but individuals too or indeed challenges within groups. This week for example (4 June 09) in York we might try a portrait FlickR Off! for flash vs natural light.

So let battle commence!
