08 May 12 - F&F it's all about street photography. Ideally, this should be a selection that could stand the test of time. So please, choose your submissions accordingly - ask yourself the question: is this really a shot worth remembering? Think of it as the place to put the one outstanding image you get every year or so.
Submitted images will be rejected, or removed, or might be seating in the queue for a while, without explanation - please don't take it personally.

About Flâneurs et Flâneuses

"Flanerie is a type of reading of the street, in which faces, shop fronts, shop windows, café terraces, street cars, automobiles and trees become a wealth of equally valid letters of the alphabet that create words, sentences and pages of an ever-new book."
(Hessel, Spazieren in Berlin)

"The crowd is his element, as the air is that of birds and water of fishes. His passion and his profession are to become one flesh with the crowd. For the perfect flâneur, for the passionate spectator, it is an immense joy to set up house in the heart of the multitude, amid the ebb and flow of movement, in the midst of the multitude and the infinite."
(Baudelaire, The Painter of Modern Life)
