About Friends of First Book

Anyone who is a friend of First Book can join this group and post your own photos - anything having to do with books, kids, reading, etc. We reserve the right to delete anything that isn't appropriate.

You may also want to check out the First Book Flickr account, which is photos posted of First Book events and activities, posted by staff member.

First Book is an international nonprofit organization with a single mission: to give children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own their first new books. We provide an ongoing supply of new books to children participating in community-based mentoring, tutoring, and family literacy programs.
