About Film Noir sequences
Wellcome all film noir lovers and filmmakers, this group is dedicated to all Film Noir sequences.
Film noir is a term used to describe film where the atmosphere is dark and somber, it's historically tied to Hollywood crime dramas from the 40ies and 50ies.
Although commonly associated with Black & White, it's the dark ambience and subject that make a film noir, therefore neither all B&W is film noir, nor all film noir has to be B&W.
It doensn't have too look vintage either, If you have a sequence that is noir on its soul, add it up. Don't be afraid to break some clichés, and don't be afraid to stick to them either.
