30 Oct 09 - Film forward has attained the goals I set to the group when founding it. Today, film photography is well alive, also for those who only considered it a remote option when I founded the group. It's time for me to step aside. My wish is that those who will take the lead will steer clear of heavy edits and give the group the direction I initially intended: priority to feelings, sincerity and personal approach. Film always was for me the only option and so it will remain. Peace, and thanks again.

About Film Forward!This group is for analog photographers, new or more experienced. Our goal is to promote the survival of film in the digital jungle. Experimenting and classicism welcome. However your photography should have a "felt" feeling in it or display a personal point of view, subtle or striking does not matter. Your way of seeing with a camera does. This is not a group for contests or excellence, but for analog photographers (whatever your camera) willing to discuss, exchange and experiment, and above all, to share impressions via photos. |
