About Olympic Torch Relay through Fife

Fifers will get a chance to welcome the Olympic Flame and share in the excitement of the Olympic Torch Relay for two days in June this year.

The route, which was devised by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG), can be viewed in full on their website: www.london2012.com/torch-relay.

This link gives street-by-street details and proposed start times for when the Olympic Flame will travel through Fife.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 12th June the Torch Relay will make its way through streets in Newburgh, Cupar, Dairsie, Guardbridge and Leuchars.

Then on Wednesday 13th June the Flame will be back in the Kingdom starting off the day in St Andrews before moving onto other neighbouring local authority areas.

But the Relay will return to the Kingdom traveling through streets in Cairneyhill, Crossford and Dunfermline later that day.
