About A Field Guide To The Owls Of The World

A Field Guide To The Owls Of The World. Get yours at bighugelabs.com/flickr

This group is designed to give an online version of the owls of the world.

To start, we are aiming to have 1 of each specie featured - this being different stages of a juvenile, an adult and 1 in flight.

Some species have different variations such as tawny owls so we would like to show the differences of those.

There are also owls which may look very similar BUT are found in different regions so therefore vary ideally we would like to get photos of all these although to some members they may look the same! (Although I highly doubt it will we will be this lucky!!)

Photos invited by admins will be accepted even if there is already a picture of that bird there as it is only fair seeing it has been invited. Feel free to invite pictures as members but these will be put in for moderation. There may be a dupication of a photo if the photo pending shows a better 'side' to the owl in question!

Although every single picture is different we are simply aiming to have an online owl guide for identification so therefore only one picture we feel is necessary.
