About FIELD OF VISION
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
DEADLINE: 2005-September-30
Following the success of FIELD OF VISION: NEW YORK,
FIELD OF VISION: EXTREMES will be the second in this ongoing series of combined internet / physical world events.
This time the organizing artists are inviting everyone to submit images visualizing the economic, political and ethical ‘extremes’ of our world as they see it.
We are especially interested in images (or pairs of images) depicting the ‘extreme’ in contrast to its respective opposite or the ‘norm'.
All submitted images are printed out postcard size and a selection of about 500 will be assembled by the group's organizing artists into a wall collage during the course of a live event / exhibition at the Institute for New Media in Frankfurt a.M. / Germany,
2005 October 21-30.
Finally, the wall collage will be translated into a web site to become permanent part of the field-of-vision.net structure.
