To celebrate our love of the fiddy (50mm prime lens). The 50mm prime when used on a cropped-sensor DSLR is a magnificent portrait lens, it is amazing in low-light photography, it delivers magnificent bokeh, it is amazingly sharp, and it is CHEAP (well, a 1.8 is).
