About FiBCS (Flickr in BCS)
Greetings!
Anyone from beginners to paid professionals are welcome to join FiBCS and post topics and participate in discussions. As long as you enjoy cameras and photography you're more than welcomed. We'd like to encourage you to submit shots taken during FiBCS meet-ups.
The FiBCS group is a handy communication medium for those of us who are meeting through Flickr. We post notices of upcoming meetings here, as well as notices of interesting events that are worth photographing.
The pool is also open to photo contributions from 2 or more FiBCS members who've met outside of our 'official' FiBCS meet-ups. The reason we suggest 2 or more is to help keep the pool focused on FiBCS social photoshoots. If you head off on your own for a photoshoot then use another appropriate group pool. Please tag your photos with FiBCS or “Flickr in BCS”.
As well, please limit yourself to posting 5 photos to the pool within a 24 hour period. Select your favourite photos from a photowalk/meet-up, rather than posting everything you've taken. Shots you thought turned out nicely and photos of other members of FiBCS make especially good pool submissions.
