Ffotogallery is inviting you to contribute to the content of an exhibition.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
FotoSommer Stuttgart , Germany (Town Hall, Stuttgart, 29 July to 5 September 2010 ) is an international festival of photography with exhibitions around the city. Ffotogallery has been asked by Fotosommer to curate a small show for the Town Hall showing a selection of established and emergent photographic art from artists based in Cardiff, a city which is twinned with Stuttgart in Germany. We are looking for photographs which capture something about the city, its people and their contemporary experiences.
SUBMISSION
To submit a photograph to the exhibition, simply join this group and contribute your photograph anytime until 30 June 2010.
You can add up to 5 photos to the group.
Submissions to the group are moderated, so it may take a couple of days for your photograph to appear in the group.
BEFORE ADDING YOUR PHOTOGRAPH
Your photograph must:
• be taken in Wales
• illustrate one of the four themes of the exhibition: documentary, landscape, portrait, still life.
It would be great if you could geotag your photographs using the "Place my images on the Map" feature within your Flickr "Organise & Create" feature.
SHOWCASE AT FOTOSOMMER
The group's photographs will be displayed on screen as part of Ffotogallery's exhibition at FotoSommer. The photographs will also be posted and shared on Ffotogallery's main website at www.ffotogallery.org
In the final weeks of the exhibition, a selection of the images submitted will be chosen by David Drake, Ffotogallery's Director and the exhibition curator, for inclusion as framed and mounted prints in the Stuttgart show.
Note: By adding your photo to this group, you are giving Ffotogallery permission to display your photo on Ffotogallery's website, and in the exhibition at FotoSommer 2010 and in other online and offline material to promote this project.
