About Festival of Britain
Photos of anything relating to the Festival of Britain. Photos taken at the time, photos of remaining buildings, commemorative items and so on. There were associated events outside of the main Festival on the South Bank and any photos relating to these are, of course, more than welcome.
The group icon shows the Skylon, surely one of the most enduring images of the Festival.
If you want to but a book on the Festival I suggest you start with the Twentieth Century Society's publication The Festival of Britain.
