About Fences & Fencing

Welcome to Fences & Fencing pool. When posting your photos, please remind yourself of the rules
Please do not dump photos thoughtlessly just because they happen to have a fence in! Let's see your best fence photos. The fence has to be the main attraction!

For a new front page fence photo, I've chosen this beautiful fence/ice/snow image from kyle jordre

Fence definition:

fence (Collins Concise Dictionary): structure to enclose an area such as a garden or field, usually made of posts of timber, concrete or metal connected by wire netting, rails or boards.

DO rules

Do post any photos where the fence "makes the photo". If the photo also features a bird or flowers, it can be added to the appropriate threads.

I have (kind of) lifted some DON'T rules from the Walls Only Walls pool:

The main focus of the photo must be the fence. I have a limited tolerance of the following

- portraits or people posing
- wallpapers, public notices, posters
- text, handwriting, tags, graffittis, art-painting
- photoshop manipulation, cutouts, negatives, montages.
