About Constructive Feedback Club [not yet active]

As the title states, this group is primarily a place to give and to get constructive feedback for your images and projects. We are here to learn from each other.

Posting images for discussion
* limit yourself to 4 images or one project per month
* include a Medium sized image in your post
* use a descriptive title (please no "opinions?" or "need critique")
* articulate why you took/processed this image the way you did
( e.g. "in this image I was trying to capture the contrast between the softness of the grass and the cold rough surface of wet rocks. For that reason, I kept the rocks sharp and the grass slightly of focus")
* ask specific questions you want answered during the discussion

Project / set peer reviews
In this group we can go beyond discussing individual images. You are welcome to share your project ideas and completed projects. You can get feedback on the project or a set. However, it is up to you to get members interested.

Posting questions / suggestions / etc
You are welcome to ask photography related questions and to make other suggestions in the discussion forum. The only condition is that you do your homework before posting. If you are asking a question, search for answers before you ask. Is you are about to make a suggestion, search the group archives for similar suggestions first. If you find one, just respond to it instead of creating a new topic.

Giving feedback and answering questions
Whether you are professional photographer or just a amateur your constructive feedback and opinion is welcome here. Be honest but respectful. Learning is the goal in this group. Photography is subjective, so you should feel free to like or to dislike any image you see here. However, it is important that you phrase your feedback constructively. Remember that if another member feels insulted, she is likely to discount your feedback (find another group if you like hearing yourself talk and just want to show off).

Receiving feedback
It is important that you respond to the feedback your get for your images. Even if you disagree with the feedback, or don't see the the image the same way, show respect and your appreciation to your reviewers (they are just trying to help!)

Member commitment
To be a member of this group, you must show that (1) you are capable of giving constructive feedback and (2) you are excited about photography. By becoming a member you are making a promise to spend at least a few hours of your time every week giving feedback to other members of this group. In exchange for you time, you will receive the time of other members. If you can't spare at least a few hours every week in this group it is not for you.
