This week it was a tough decision! I had five or six favorites, and kept going back and forth. However, I have to say, the macaws did it for me after all!

I pick this one, even thou i always get upset when i see another bird or animal kill something to eat it while its still alive. What a way to end living-- being eaten a live- the poor thing.

I want to vote for this picture, but I did not see a way to "see all sizes", so this will probably be too big. I don't know why some pictures give that choice and some don't. sorry if it's big. It's the one where the bird bites the nose.

for anyones pic that doesn't have the view all sizes tab you can also click the pic to view it then right click to highlight the whole http link in the adress bar and then click copy then paste in comment box with [ ] one bracket at each end example... [http.copyed adress here] and click preview comment and the picture should come up. Hope this helps.

I have to vote for reality this week. Nature is raw, harsh, and beautiful. We often have cute and endearing photos of birds, but rarely such a hauting image.

I likr the image of the cedar waxwing loading up on berries or crabapples. umfortumatrly Flickr isn't cooperating in allowing me to shoy the picture here :-( It was great image of a waxy feeding frenzy!

Some really fine photos as always. I am impressed week after week with the photos that get posted here. I had a REALLY hard time choosing this week, but finally decided on Makeupanid's wonderful cedar waxwings because I do wish I had taken it!
I want to give lots of folks a chance to vote, and I am attending my daughter's HS play tonight, so I'll end up tallying quite late this evening, but I'll get it done before midnight!
