About Unofficial FDNY group - You still own your photos!

Please note that we had to change the name of this group due to an alleged trademark claim. Apparently F.D.N.Y. and/or Fire Department City of New York was trademarked in 2006 in an act of Bloombergian malfeasance.
We respect the men and women of the FDNY who put their lives on the line.
Those who profit off of them and the non-essential government employees who have time and tax dollars to waste looking into such nonsense are lucky they have people willing to risk their lives to save their worthless hides. Bloomberg and his minions are without honor.

Unlike the official FDNY group we don't steal the rights to your photos. We find their statement that "All photos submitted to this group are considered property of the Fire Department and can be used for our own purposes with proper accreditation " to be offensive and stealing.

Photos of the New York City Fire Department - its trucks, ambulances, vehicles, equipment, people, houses, etc.

Fire trucks in FDNY lookalike paint schemes or FDNY tributes from outside of NYC are also welcome, as well as anything else FDNY related. Photos with no FDNY related content will be removed!

Old NYC EMS photos are OK, too since its now part of the FDNY.

No posting limits.
If you have a whole series of photos documenting a job, rig, house, whatever just post them all or the ones you like the best. The more pictures the better!
