FAYETTE PHOTO CLUB CODE OF ETHICS

As a requirement of membership in the Fayette Photo Club I agree to abide by the following:

Always present myself and the club in a manner which reflects the highest level of integrity.

When dealing with other photographers or the general public, I will be honest and courteous.

I will respect copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property.

I will respect privacy of others and their property.

Any photo that clearly shows anyone or the property of another will not be published or used commercially without the proper releases.

I will not distress wildlife or their habitat.

I will respect property of others and not trespass where I know it specifically to be forbidden.

When photographing at any location I will be aware of all rules, laws, and regulations for that location and respect them.

I will not use any marketing or competitive practice which violates any Federal Trade Commission, or other Federal or State Regulatory Agency rule or regulation or decision of any Federal or State Court.

All members are required to be of honorable character and reputation.

All members are required to refrain from conduct that may reflect poorly on themselves or the Fayette Photo Club.

Any shoot that is not advertised to the group as a “club shoot” is not a club function.
