About Fast Track Racing Team
Fast Track Racing Team was started in 2005 by Dave Schaefers, Steve Schaefers & Ann Schaefers-Coles and is the premier track club in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
The "Power of the Group" philosophy is our strength. Our runners train and compete in road races and marathons together throughout the Chicago area and across the nation. Whether you are training for your first 5K or your 40th marathon, all runners are welcome to come train with us.
We meet year round at the Harper College track every Wednesday evening for speed work at 6PM. Yes we run in the cold and dark. We'll be moving indoors when snow and ice is present (or not). During the month of June 2009 we'll be at Lake Park West High School due to field work at Harper.
You'll also find most of us meeting at the Dick Pond store of Schaumburg for group runs according to pace at 6PM every Monday.
