About Short Exposures

This group is intended to be a tool for teaching a Digital Photography Class. It is set up to illustrate what a a camera can do with fast shutter speeds, 1/200 of a second and faster. Attention to details are important too. Subject matter, color balance, post processing, composition and use of light are critical details to observe.

Short Exposures Rules,

• EXIF data must indicate your shutter speed was equal to or faster than 1/200 of a second.
• If your image does not have this info a tag indicating the shutter speed is necessary.
• No more than 5 total images from a photographer. Please feel free to delete and add image you feel are a better representation of your best work to the group.
• When you add to the pool please comment on 3 images indicating you viewed the photo in the Short Exposures. There is nothing to copy and paste, simply state it.
• Media Hero will delete photos from the if comments from submitters are not found.
• When the pool reaches 250 total images the pool will be culled down to the 175 best images.

Media Hero looks forward to posting images that hold to these rules. If an image is not accepted Media Hero may surf your sets for an image that suits the limitations of this group better.
