06 Oct 10 - Wow, it's been a long absence. I hope it is not fatal! We have such excellent and enthusiastic photographers in this group that it would be a pity to se it fold. My own interest is in creating "films" using mainly single images along with music and narration or captions. A recent production "The West Coast in 20 Minutes" has been a popular success but an even more recent attempt which included a lot of video bombed out my software Proshow Gold. Let's keep in touch.

About Far South PeninsulaThis group is primarily for photographers either resident in or who often take photographs in the Far South Peninsula, Western Cape, South Africa. No standards are being set but I hope to draw in people who are keen on photography as a means of self-expression and wish to develop their technical skills and emotional responsivity to the world around them. Of course, we would be only be too happy to welcome genuine "experts" so that we can all learn and improve. There is no limit on subject matter - other than the obvious exclusions on grounds of good taste - but preferably the image should deal with the landscapes, (including sky and sea), fauna and flora and inhabitants of this region. |
