About Farmhouse Breakfast Club

It’s time to Shake Up Your Wake Up with Farmhouse Breakfast Week from 23 to 29 January 2011.

With one in four people regularly skipping breakfast(1), this year organisers HGCA are challenging the nation to re-evaluate their morning routine.

Everyone can get involved in the celebrations…

•Hold an event
•Offer a breakfast product promotion
•Try a quick and easy breakfast idea
•Visit www.shakeupyourwakeup.com for more
information or to list your event or promotion

Why eat breakfast…

•Breakfast eaters tend to be slimmer than breakfast
skippers(2)
•Eating breakfast can aid concentration and mental
performance at work and at school(3)
•It provides you with the nutrients and energy needed
for an active lifestyle(4)
•Research shows that breakfast eaters are less depressed
and have lower levels of stress than breakfast
skippers(5)

So whoever and wherever you are, join us and Shake Up Your Wake Up from 23 to 29 January with a healthy balanced breakfast.

Verbal fluency, creativity and the ability to recall newly acquired facts are similarly affected. Other studies show that adults who ate breakfast tended to work faster, made fewer mistakes in logic tests and had better memory recall compared with breakfast skippers.
