Faraway is an independent literary journal based out of southern California's Inland Empire. Conceived of as an independent venture without advertising or outside funding, Faraway is financed by the writers and artists who compose each issue, in addition to generous donations from friends, family and readers.

Faraway's main goal is to get new up-and-coming writers and artists into print, so that they can receive the exposure that they deserve. Art and literature are the foundations of culture, and are an important part of society.
