Great photos. I love family vacation photos, and the ones submitted so far are fabulous.

About Are We There Yet? Families on vacation: 1945-1970s

The time period from the end of World War II through the 70s was the high point of the family vacation. There's a new book out, also called "Are We There Yet?" that explores this topic. (Are We There Yet? The Golden Age of American Family Vacations, by Susan Sessions Rugh).

Here's a group for photos of families enjoying (or not enjoying) their vacations in the late 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s.

Not another "roadside attractions" group, this one is about the people AND their experience of the vacation. So while the photos can show the classic vacation spots, I'd like for the photos to show at least one person enjoying (or at least experiencing) that spot -- no classic vacation landscape shots: there are plenty of groups for them.
