About The Silent Grief of Trees
We started this group when we witnessed what crimes people lightheartedly commit against those friendly and almost defenseless (they do know how to irritate) Christmas-trees.
Our pool should be filled with images that portray the sad circumstances these trees have to endure. Is it any wonder after all the indignities we heap upon them from tree-farm to woodpile, that so many just end up throwing themselves into alleys, a pine-needle in one branch , a bottle of Spruce Beer in the other. We must learn not to sit in judgement but to empathize.
Of course we are not only raising our voices for Christmas-trees, but for all those crippled little trees between freeways, pale birches, sad tree-stomps, tortured coniferes, begging for Epinette and dimes - if you spot crimes against trees, be a witness and bring them here :)
And we hope that oneday soon Greenpeace will care more for green peace.
