About Faeria

Faeria is a development within the Huin sim on the southern continent of Jeogeot, the third mainland continent to be created by Linden Labs. It takes it's name from Edmund Spenser's "Faerie Queene."

Faeria is a whimsical place where artists and creatives of all types find refuge. Large areas are dedicated to public green spaces. Art and music thrive in Faeria.

Faeria was initially launched by Mykyl Nordwind, with the creation of Faeria Village, a collection of small shops and galleries in a natural setting. Mykyl began with a single 512 plot, to which she began adding land in January 2007.

Princess Ivory and Alphonsus Peck came on board in May 2007, buying up land around the perimeter of the sim as it became available and creating public green spaces. Currently they are developing Faeria Fantasy Waterfall and Mermaid Pool, and Faeria Forest.

Mykyl Norwind's summer 2007 contribution to Faeria is the beautiful Faeria Palace in the center of the sim. It is open to the public, and will play host to weddings and public balls.
