This group is to showcase interesting or lively faces.
We like to invite you to join us as a member as well. 8)
Members may post as many PORTRAITS and photos of FACES as you wish, but please do not photo dump. Our request is that you self moderate and also ensure that only photos with faces of people as the central subject are posted. By central subject we mean that the person must at least have some eye contact with you or be aware that you are taking their photo.
Therefore, please DO NOT SHOW faces in masks, as a silhouette or in deep shadow, side views, back view of heads, mid or long range view of people doing something and unaware of your presence or performers, general shot of people in a group with no specific focus, faces hidden behind fencing, walls, etc. Any photograph which do not clearly show a face may be deleted after posting.
As a rule of thumb, please ensure that your photo's focus is clearly on one person's face (portrait) or a group of people and their faces (and clearly showing some focus or intent on why they are together) and looking at you or being aware of you. We prefer not to have photos of performers engrossed in their performance unless there is something interesting to show about them.
But we hope you can self-regulate but if in doubt just post it; the admin will decide. 8)
And once you have joined this group, we hope that you will come back again to post new faces! 8)
The Admins reserve the right to delete any posting which do not abide by this one single rule. And thank you for being part of this group. 8)
