About The Nikon F601 (N6006) and F401 (N4004) Appreciation Society
This is a group for everyone who has ever owned or owns one of these faithful offerings from Nikon and would like to share images taken with either of these caneras with other owners and non-owners alike, past or present. These two cameras were also branded as the N6006 and N4004.
Certainly and very arguably they were never the best series that this world-class camera and optical manufacturer produced or have ever made. However and in their defence, both of these models have inspired and assisted me on my personal journey through photography. I am sure that I am also not the only person to feel this way about them.
On the odd occasion admittedly, I have wanted to discard these cameras when they have let me down at some in-opportune moment. However, on the whole I cannot grumble to much, as the joy and happiness these two camera’s have provided to me and my friends and family far out weighs any negative aspect. Not less the sacred and often beautiful memories that they have helped to capture and produce for posterity along the way.
Therefore, this new group is dedicated to the Nikon F601 and F401 series camera.
The Rules for posting are simple and few and are as follows :-
1 - The image must be taken with either the F401/N4004 or the F601/N6006 Nikon camera.
2 - It is respectively requested that you be selective in your posting of images, and dont just post any old picture taken with a F401 or F601 camera.
3 - Pleae limit your submissions to 5 per day.
4 - Please respect each other and other peoples points of view, we are all equal here.
The rules aside, lets enjoy each others images, after all that’s what its all about really.
I look forward to the beginnings of a fantastic new group on flickr!
Wil.
