About Fall 2010 Web4Ed Local Plants

Primarily this group is an exercise in geotagging for students. We create a collection of geotagged local plant photos. By "local" we mean the vicinity where a group member lives or works. Members photograph plants that do just fine outdoors, in their local natural environment. The goal of the collection is to see plants living in a variety of locations. For example, Holly is just as common here in Eindhoven,The Netherlands, as in New York City. Hopefully we'll get to see both common and unique local plants.
