26 May 10 - the idea is to get out collective anger and turn it into a positive. in my case, it's art. these are my impressions in the visual medium of my frustration over the gulf oil spill. you could post photographs or other visual representations.

i've described my idea below ... check it out before contributing ... it's not your parent's planet anymore, it's yours. fight for it.

About eyes of the world on oceans

mickey hart here. I have uploaded some images I’ve created and would like to dedicate them to the nice folks at BP … join me … perhaps we might do some good.

If we all compiled a huge database of photos from around the world depicting our local areas, coastline, the place where water meets land, meets man, we collectively could make a powerful statement. in these places we usually find the greatest visuals of the beauty as well as the horror of pollution.

our earth is under attack and our oceans are sick and dying. these photos will give the oceans a voice.

a picture says a thousand words they say; together we can say millions. with this visual proof we can shed much needed awareness about the horrific damage that our planet is being subjected to.

in the photos, we should be able to see some detail, the idea is to bring back a snapshot of favorite places that have been impacted. these images should document the way it is today because it might not look quite as nice in the future.
