About Extreme British Isles

A relatively recent group which is fast becoming the place for images of the more extreme side of the uk, ranging from ice climbing to raging waterfalls to knife edge mountian ridges it is all here and we are looking for more...
(Pictures from the Isle of Man and Channel Islands are also welcome).

This group is dedicated primarily to

-Wild Scenery:

Waterfalls
Cliffs
Mountains
Rock Pillars
Sea Stacks
White Water Rapids

(ideally these should be remote, situated away from human activity and not include humans or human activity as the main subject, some expecptions can be made for example some pictures look better with someone in the picture to give a sense of scale or to demonstrate how exposed a particular ridge or pinnacle is etc...)

- Wild weather

Stormy seas
Blizzards
Flooding
Extreme heatwaves
Windstorms (Either during or the damage the next day)

- Wild Animals (Ones that could at least hurt you if not eat you...)

(In the seas surrounding Britain or on land...)
Large Animals eg Red deer or a whale
Carniverous mammals eg. Scottish wildcat, fox, badger etc.
Dangerous animals like the wild boar
Poisenous animals like the adder
