I will give a little bit of information about these two genera. There will come a lot of scientific names, so keep the schedule below in mind. There are two genera: the genus Extatosoma Tiaratum, which lives in Australia, and the genus Extatosoma Popa, which lives in New Guinea. Both genera have two species: one that imitates leaves and one that imitates lichen. The ordinary Extatosoma Tiaratum Tiaratum is the most common bred species. The Bufonium species, the green version was discovered in 1874. The species in New Guinea which imitates leaves, the Extatosoma Popa Popa, is hardly different from the ordinary Extatosoma Tiaratum Tiaratum. The fourth species is the most spectacular one: the Extatosoma popa carlbergi. It's the lichen imitating species from New Guinea. You can see a picture of it below.
