How do different people and groups of people view science and technology? What do they know about it? What do they think is important?
Members of this group share artworks that express what is important to them in and around science and technology. If you want to participate, just post a picture.
The idea is to collect a set of pictures that are interesting in their own right, but that can also be joined together into a single # Exquisite Corpse of Science artwork - just to make life more interesting.
To that end, it helps if pictures meet certain specifications: See Group Rules.
Background to the Project from Tim Jones
In 2009, I worked on a project with colleagues Arko Olesk and Graham Paterson, at Imperial College London, to produce a short film ‘The Exquisite Corpse of Science’ that captured the drawings and comments made by a range of people asked to consider what science meant to them. The movie was shown at the Imagine Science Film Festival in New York, and the Belgrade Science Festival.
