About Ex-Greater Manchester buses - where are they now?

This group takes a look at the many Greater Manchester buses that have moved on in life, be that to operate on public or school services elsewhere in the country (or the world?), to a non-PCV role, into preservation, or off to the dreaded scrapyard.

GM Buses sold off a lot of stock after Deregulation in the late 1980s, considered surplus after slimming down their operations somewhat in anticipation of intense competition.

In more recent times, Stagecoach has showered southern Greater Manchester with hundreds of new buses, then hundreds more, allowing lots of Volvo B10Ms/Olympians, and very young Dennis Tridents/Enviro400s to be cascaded to Stagecoach subsidiaries from Devon to Scotland. First have also cascaded a good number of young Volvo B7RLEs to other parts of the country.

Due to the purpose of this group, only buses from the SELNEC era and after will be accepted. The photo must be of the bus AFTER it left Greater Manchester public service operation.
