About Exeter at Christmas

Before Christmas becomes a far-off memory we thought you'd be interested in seeing who won the 2010 competition to 'capture the Christmas spirit of Exeter'.

Lin Qian (25) from Exeter won the overall prize. Her captivating picture of Exeter Cathedral scooped a snazzy Christmas first prize – an HMV goody bag from Princesshay, a meal for four at Nandos, a bespoke piece of jewellery from Swarovski and a spectacular seasonal night out for two in sparkly Exeter: watching family favourite ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ at Exeter Corn Exchange, followed by a delicious two-course meal for two at MC Café Bar & Grill & sumptuous accommodation courtesy of ABode Exeter at the Royal Clarence Hotel.

The three runners up - Ben Hutchings, Paula Draper and Alex Toze received £75 of must-have Christmas gift vouchers, thanks to the generosity of the Guildhall Shopping Centre. To view the winning picture and three runners-up images, please use the links above.
