This is not a normal group. I rule this domain in the relentless, often heartless, pursuit of a perfect slideshow.

In other words, I want to shape not only the photographs in the pool, but also their placement in relation to each other. It's like curating an art show. Of course, for the time being, flickr doesn't allow admins to rearrange the order of photos in a stream, so this means I often delete excellent self portraits purely for the goal of making the photos "flow" better. EDIT: Flickr now allows me to moderate photos -- that is, approve or deny photos before they ever even appear in the stream. Believe me, this will make the group more fun for you and waaayyy easier for me. :) .

"Flow", "excellent", and even "self portrait" are all subjective terms. That's why I have decided this is a dictatorship; I think it's unlikely that even only 2 people could agree on any of those things. So if I delete your photo, either because it doesn't flow, or doesn't fit the group - it does not mean your photo is bad. It doesn't even mean I don't like it. It just means that your photo doesn't fit some subjective, hard-to-define vision in my head for this group.

I sometimes comment on photos and explain why I've removed them; I sometimes don't. It all depends on how much time I have. Always feel free to message me and ask, though! I will answer, I promise. I am a cruel but communicative dictator.

Everyone who requests to join the group will be approved; however, please do NOT mindlessly dump photos in this pool. I will kick you out if you are obviously not looking at the stream before posting.

Feel free to try to play my game: submit photos that are not only good, but also fit into the stream in a way you think I'll like.

alethuo is sarcastic and smart, doublevelvet is fierce and macabre, and wiseacre is always acting, yet all of them are earnest. I find myself turning away from insincerity; it's deeply interesting to me when people are sincere in their trying on of different masks, which all three of these photographers do. I'm inspired; I hope you are too. :)

Esto no es un grupo normal. Gobierno este dominio en la implacable y, a menudo despiadada, búsqueda de una perfecta proyección o slideshow.

Es decir, quiero controlar no sólo las fotografías del "pool", si no también su lugar y emplazamiento en relación a cada una de las otras imágenes. Por el momento flickr no permite que los administradores de los grupos cambien el orden de las fotos en los "streams" o portafolios, esto significa q a veces suprimo auto-retratos excelentes con la única intención de hacer el flujo de las imágenes mucho más atrayente.

“Flujo”, “excelentes”, e incluso “auto-retrato”, son términos subjetivos. Por este motivo he decidido convertir este grupo en una dictadura. Incluso pienso que es inverosímil que únicamente 2 personas puedan ponerse de acuerdo en estos conceptos.
Por lo tanto, si suprimo tu foto, porque no fluye, o no encaja en ese momento en el grupo, no significa que tu foto es mala o no pueda servir para el proyecto. Tampoco significa que no me guste. Solo significa que no encaja en ese momento en mi idea subjetiva y difícil de definir, del ideal del grupo o del "slideshow".

A veces comento algunas fotos y explico porqué las he quitado, no siempre, todo depende de cuánto tiempo tenga. Siempre tienes la opción de escribirme algún mensaje. Prometo contestar. Soy dictadora, soy cruel, pero también comunicativa.

Cualquiera que solicite unirse al grupo será admitido; sin embargo, eso no significa que tus fotos estén admitidas. Te echaré a patadas si no observas detenidamente el "pool" y compruebas que la imagen pueda encajar.

Intenta seguir mi juego libremente, envía las fotos que no sólo creas que son buenas, si no también que creas que tengan cabida en el flujo del "pool" y pienses que me gustará su ubicación.

Alethuo es sarcástico y elegante, doublevelvet es feroz y macabro, y wiseacre está siempre actuando. Todo ellos son muy serios. Yo cada vez me siento más alejada de la falta de sinceridad; por eso me parece interesantísimo cuando la gente es real y auténtica en su intento de asumir otras identidades ó máscaras, que es lo que creo hacen estos tres fotógrafos. Ellos me inspiran y espero que tu me inspires también.

Questo non è un gruppo normale. Io gestisco questo domino senza pietà, spesso senza indulgenza e nella ricerca di una perfetta slideshow.

In altre parole. Non valuto soltanto le fotografie nel pool, ma la loro posizione in relazione con tutti gli altri. È come curare un’esposizione d’arte. Naturalmente, per il momento, flickr non permette ad un Admin di riorganizzare l’ordine delle fotografie, perciò spesso cancello degli ottimi ritratti solo per rendere il flusso migliore.

“Flusso”, “eccellente”, e addirittura “autoritratto”sono termini soggettivi. Per questo io ho deciso che questo è una dittatura. Penso che sia improbabile che anche solo due persone possono essere d’accordo su una di queste cose. Così, se io cancello una vostra fotografia lo faccio perché non sta bene nel flusso o nel gruppo e non vuole dire che la vostra fotografia è brutta. Non vuole dire neanche che non mi piace la vostra fotografia. Significa solo che non sta bene, soggettivamente, una difficile da spiegare visione mia per questo gruppo.

Qualche volta io commento le fotografie e spiego perché li ho rimosse. Altre volte No. Dipende quanto tempo ho a disposizione. Sentitevi liberi di scrivermi e chiedere. Prometto di rispondere. Sono un dittatore crudele ma comunicativo.

Ognuno che fa richiesta viene ammesso in questo gruppo. Però, prego di NON scaricare insensate fotografie in questo pool. Vi butto fuori se è evidente che non guardate il flusso delle immagini prima di mettere su le vostre fotografie.

Sentitevi libero di provare a giocare il mio gioco: presentate le fotografie che non solo sono buone, ma anche bene inserito nel flusso in un senso che voi pensate che io li gradisco.
