About Evidence of Pollution
Evidence of Pollution is a pool of photos on Flickr that ought to capture evidence of pollution. Please upload to this group photographs that you have taken that capture evidence of pollution at a location identified by GPS coordinates. The goal of this pool is to use the distributed system of location-aware photographic devices to crowd-source a central database of pollution. Non-for-profit environmental groups and state environmental regulators can then use this database to identify pollution within their local area and jurisdictions, decide whether or not such pollution is illegal, and stop it. In light of this motivation please use your photographs (not your descriptions) to capture as much detail as possible.
