About Everyday Heroes
A hero as defined at dictionary.com is - "a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal."
This group is to highlight and feature those that go out of their way to make the world a better place. Whether that be some form of community service, charity work, public advocacy, or a public service career choice, i.e., firefighter or police officer, then we'd like to see them and their acts pictured here.
While this group can certainly include portraits of individuals you'd like to highlight, we'd especially like to feature these heroes in their element, specifically showing the actions that make them such.
I hope this group can not only be a reminder of all the great heroes we have in our world, but also an inspiration to those of us who see adversity and still may need help rising to the occasion.
