Hi Jay
a question about the artistic rules. I have started doing texturing by merging two photos in PS. I see the artistic says you can do double exposure and PS manipulation but I am not sure if my art falls in or out of the rule box.thanks melinda

Hi Melinda,

Yes, your style would definitely fit nicely within the artistic category. Very painterly and very beautiful.

Thanks,
Jay

Is it ok that the texture is not from the preserve. its fabric. although I could prob find something to shoot at the preserve to make a texture from. like a leaf or tree bark.

As long as the primary subject was taken in the refuge, any textures or other elements added to the photograph for the artistic category can come from anywhere.

Thanks,
Jay
