About Eugene Bike Accessibility Issues

Despite what you see here Eugene is one of the best and safest cycling cities in the country. It is safe and easy to navigate year round. Be sure to visit our sister group at Eugene Loves Bikes! and see the wonderful things that have made Eugene a Gold bicycling city.

This is a place where you can post pictures of bike safety issues, like parked cars, huge potholes, leaves, and debris in bike lanes. It's also a place for bike crossings, trail issues, etc. Maybe one day this will be useful evidence for beneficial legislation.

If see a bike lane blocked by leaves in Eugene, OR you can go to www.eugene-or.gov/leaf or call 541-682-4800 to report it.

Then go one step further. Snap a picture of it with your cell phone, upload it to flickr, and give them the link when you report it. That way they know exactly what you mean, and we can all track how useful the service is.

Debris can be reported to the city's maintenance hot line at 541-682-4800 and parked cars in the bike lane can be reported to the police non-emergency number at 541-682-5111.

Go here www.flickr.com/account/uploadbyemail/ for instruction on how to upload to flickr via picture message.
