Hello Chicago Crafters,
I am posting here to see if anyone is interested in an ongoing selling opportunity this summer. I was contacted by a woman from the Southport Green Market last week. This is a farmer's market on Southport and Grace on the north side:

They have decided to include an indie craft section this summer, and asked my to join them. Here's the skinny: the market goes on 8:00 am until Noon every Saturday from June 21 until October 11. I will be out of the country until the 2nd week of August, but would still like to participate from August until October. So this is where you all come in.
I am hoping to have a small group of vendors that can switch in and out of the booth throughout the summer. It's a 10x10' space, so I imagine we could fit 1-3 vendors in every weekend, depending on who's available. The cost for the entire summer is $300 for a booth, so the cost will be determined by how many of you are interested in joining the co-op. I'm hoping to split the cost evenly, even if you're only able to commit to 3 or 4 Saturdays. I think you'll agree that even if only 2 people join in, $150 for a potential 17 selling days is a darn good deal!
So, if you've got some free Saturdays this summer and you're interested, please let me know. I'm still deciding how I'll move forward with the organization of this, so just let me know if you're interested in, and we'll go from there. If you have anyone that you think would be perfect for this, please forward this info to them. Questions? Just let me know.
Cheers,
Betsy Treacy
