01/29/2008 : étrange work in progress
Here are few answersi made to IttyBittyMyMy, i think i can share this with you étrange people !

- We want to build both website and magazine. Our priority for issue 1 is to have a blog online to make it easier to communicate with you étrange people. Our MAIN priority at the end of these 2 months is to build the first real paper magazine and distribute to you guys through blurb.com.
This is the real objective and the only one ! Everything is about quallity photographers and "new images".... In a second time we'll build a real website.... But that is another story, let's make things happen !

- We started.....on a saturday afternoon, just like this. We love photo, we love intelligent photography for years, we love creators. So we logically decided to launch this étrange thing.... Sometimes you just want to try something, we are trying !

- I am the director of this étrange magazine with my buddy naoh...We are both from Paris(France). I 'm working on launching my own company and Naoh is studying at HEC. We will do our best to make the first issue something new and different and we hope you people will like it and help us to build a second issue with more exciting things !!!!

We need you to support us and to share our vision, our envy, our name with the best photographers you can gather in here !

Hey people,
Try to take some time to review other étrange pictures ( 3 or 4, not everything!) because it could help us to choose the lucky printed ones !
Uhhhh, another thing, please try to shoot new pictures for the contest .... It's not that we don't like your old pics, but it's better to stimulate your imagination ! Pictures shooted for the contest will have more chances to be published....

01/20/2008 : Here we go !

Yataï !!
The first version of étrange mélange is alive ! Our first theme to participate is " I love your bedroom" ... Here we go people ! Pillows, mattress and pyjamas ... Submissions are open until 03/20/08! It's not a polaroid only or Holga only! Every kind of good pictures is accepted !

Be creative !

You have 2 months ( untill 03/20/08) to submit your 2 pictures to our terrible and impartial judgement ! Don't forget to tag your pictures "i love your bedroom"
étrange mélange will reward the best of you guys with some little tiny things (we will not offer you cameras cause we are not that rich...) ! We swear we'll be very nice with you.

Best submissions will be published in the first issue of etrange melange available both in pdf format and in Blurb. Isn't that great ?

We are not professional , étrange mélange is a fully non profit project... We just love new photography and new images ! Those from 80's kids, those from holga fanatics, those from polaroid fanatics, those from digital cameras, those coming from old good films !
