From Masai kangas, to Thai sarongs, from African textiles to Ikat prints, traditional clothing from around the world has always been an endless source of inspiration for me, and my own work. This group started one night after a long and lonely search on the web, hoping to find gorgeous detail shots of Ugandan busutis...without much luck.

The aim of this group is to fill that void -- and become a colorful resource and celebration of traditional dress, jewelry and textiles from all different cultures, filled with vivid, detailed, artfully shot and engaging photos. That's where you come in. We are looking for the very best, compelling photos from you talented members! From the patterned rows of a beaded bodice, to the swirls of a girl's handwoven skirt, to the glint of an intricately hammered metal necklace, here, your photos are the very definition of inspiration -- not to mention an invaluable tool.
