About Elgin / Taylor / Bastrop Photography Group

This is a photography group for people in the Elgin, Taylor, Bastrop area, or any other nearby areas. I thought it would be nice to have a group for those people just outside Austin that might want to meet up, talk shop on the site, or share photos...

Sometimes I like to get up early in the morning on Sundays and go shoot or meetup with other photographers, but I don't always feel like going into Austin. As we all know, if you mention Elgin/Taylor/Bastrop to anyone in Austin, they look at you like you want them to travel half-way around the world. Maybe this would be a good way to get people in these area's to meet up and go shoot more often...

Anyone into photography is welcome to join. You can have a $10K camera, or a $20 Point-and-Shoot. All that matters is that you have a passion for photography...
