About Essex churches and places of worship

All places of worship in Essex or the former county of Essex prior to the 1965 local government reorganisation - which includes Havering, Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham, Walthamstow and parts of Newham.

Shrines, temples, synagogues, mosques are all equally acceptable if they fall within the geographical boundaries.

Parts of the church, interiors, stained glass, furnishings, graveyards etc are all acceptable. While some groups insist only on pictures of the whole exterior my approach is more liberal.

Photograph as the spirit moves you!
