About vintage wall escutcheons This is a group to highlight and document vintage wall escutcheons. This is not a place for door and keyhole escutcheons. There are already places for that. This is also not a place for the new escutcheons that you can buy at Home Depot, or for the barn stars that are becoming ubiquitous. I like those. They look fine. But this is a group with a sense of History. The best ones are the ones that have been painted carefully with individual colors. In the 80's everyone painted over them in monochrome. But many people are restoring them to their original color. and those make great, atmospheric pictures.	Additional Information This is a public group.
