About Eric's Club Liverpool.
Eric's Club, Matthew Street, Liverpool open from 1976 until it was shut down in 1980. During that time it was a fantastic live music venue for both major and minor league punk, new wave, rock and reggae music. If you were a member you don't need me to tell you how great it was.
This group seeks to capture ALL availabe photos that were taken of:
1) the bands inside the club;
2) the members;
3) Artwork e.g membership cards, fliers, posters, badges etc;
4) The club building, both inside and out;
5) Anything else related to the Club,
in one singe point of reference. Obviously given the dates that the club was open these will have to be digitised scans of the originals. (If possibe can you use a high resolution scan of the original and then enhance it with an editing tool).
We will also consider photos of bands that appeared at Eric's but the photos were shot elsewhere. If possibe please include the dates the photos were originally taken. However you must own the copyright of the material that you submit or at least have the permission of the copyright owner to submit the material.
It goes without saying that any shots taken from the new eric's club will also be welcome.
