About Equality for All Welcome to Equality for All, a public photo gallery of people displaying their support for the awareness and promotion of GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered) civil rights! Equality for All promotes the idea that no matter your race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, or other identity qualities, everyone deserves the same rights. The right to employment without discrimination, the right to love who we choose to love, and the right to marry are just a few of the civil rights that Equality for All is fighting for. Inspired by the No H8 Campaign, Equality for All's mission is to spread tolerance and support through our Pledge for Equality. The Pledge for Equality is a simple act that any GLBT civil rights supporter can do to show their dedication to equality. The Pledge for Equality is a quick, simple, painless, and empowering process. It simply involves a supporter drawing, with just a basic Sharpie or similar marker, an equal sign inside of a rectangle, similar to the HRC (Human Rights Campaign) logo, onto an all-ages appropriate part of their body. A hand, an arm, a forehead, an ankle, a toe! The possibilities are only limited to your imagination. Here is an example of a supporter's Pledge for Equality: Civil Rights are an important issue for all Americans. And for all of the world. The rights of the minority must be protected by the power of the majority. Show your support for equality, and stand up for civil rigts. To show your support, follow these easy steps: 1. Sign up for a flickr account. 2. On an all-ages appropriate part of your body, draw an equal sign inside of a rectangle, similar to the HRC (Human Rights Campaign) logo. Size and color, as long as the symbol is legible, are up to the supporter. 3. Take a picture of your new equality symbol. You may choose to display your face, take it with friends, or simply only show the symbol. 4. Submit your picture to the group. Other ways to show your support: 1. Upoad your Pledge photo onto Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, and other social networking websites. 2. Invite others to take the Pledge for Equality and submit their pictures. Friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and even complete strangers! But do be careful. :) 3. Join the Equality for All Facebook Group and submit your photo there.
