This group is about creating new realities, which evoke a different notion than the original object actually did in reality. It's about reality, our clue to it and the possibility to play and alienate it. What is reality about? How to change or alienate it? A computer keyboard e.g. could become a new room or a new space, a surface of a different planet in space (as you can see in my stream). It's about the expression of another notion of reality, a new photographically composed reality.
Please don't just post snapshots or something like pure flowers without changing the angle of perspection. It's about developing a new kind of reality and change of old concepts we bear in us.
Examples could be macros, parts of portraits which are alienated, abstracta which evoke the concept of something completely different and so on.
A test could be the question: "It looks like..., but I actually don't know, what it is! What is it?" Does your picture fit to this concept, then you are right here!
I don't want to regiment the amount of comments or posted pics. But please feel free to post comments on pics that interest you. Further, please feel free to invite artists who deal with this idea of reality and fiction in their work.
Please no pornographical contents. Pics and members will be banned after first warning. Restrained nudity is accepted, but maybe there are better groups to post that topic to.
Please comment, post and invite on your own authority to get this group a fine one with an interesting and art motivating topic!
One thing I'd like to mention, though: Admins keep the right to decide finally, if a picture follows the scope of the group. Pictures, which obviously don't fit the theme will be deleted.
